Who's House? Doll's House!

I am starting to like the play we are reading now since the tension has grew.  I can relate the character's to other character's in other novels we have read this year, also the plot.  This play is related to A Raisin in the Sun.  I would say that Noarh is similar to Beneatha because they are both women who are young and think they can live life on their own.  Also the plot is similar because both families are in bad situatioins and are depending on money, which hurts both of them.
I feel that Norah and Krogstad have an immature relationship.  Noarh acts like a child and it is annoying to me.  If i were in Krogstad's place i would tell her how i really felt.  I would not be able to put up with someone who acts like a baby and doesn't tell me the truth.  Norah owe's a big amortization and is in a sticky situation.  Now money has interfered with her daily life and is now at risk of getting into trouble.  Why did Norah think everything would be okay when she did several illegal and wrong acts?

  1. Yeah, I agree with you that Beneahta does act like Nora in the play. Walter and Torwald are also alike in acting of being the dominant person in the relationship, when in reality, it is he females who are.
